The Inventory Coordinator is to assist in the management of the company's working capital for a designated site or region. This includes responsibility for integrity of inventory and procurement data, validation of inventory forecasts and subsequent purchasing.
Key responsibilities n
Coordinate site inventory data to ensure records accurately reflect stock movements, goods received and production activity.

Create and maintain purchase orders, ensuring all information is accurate and updated promptly.

Maintain supplier master data, including preferred suppliers and current pricing, and obtain supplier quotes.
n
Analyse demand forecasts, replenishment reports and market trends to support purchasing decisions and provide recommendations to the Group Procurement Manager.

Monitor stock levels and adjust replenishment requirements to maintain agreed stock coverage and meet production needs.

Coordinate branch stock transfers and liaise with transport providers to ensure timely delivery and receipt of goods.
n
Develop and oversee the weekly mesh production plan based on replenishment requirements.
n
Coordinate regular stocktakes, cycle counts and work-in-progress reviews, investigate variances and reconcile inventory records.
n
Maintain and improve inventory control procedures to support cost efficiency and production requirements.
n
Identify supply disruptions and recommend alternative courses of action to management.
n
Work with production teams to accurately record scrap material and prepare documentation and reconciliations for all scrap transactions.
