QUALITY ASSURANCE / QUALITY CONTROL INSPECTOR n
Manufacturing | Full-Time | Monday to Friday

$33-$34 per hour (Day Shift) | $38-$39 per hour (Afternoon Shift)
ABOUT THE ROLE n
Our client is seeking a detail‑oriented and motivated Quality Assurance / Quality Control Inspector to join their manufacturing team on a full‑time basis.
n
Reporting to the Quality Assurance Supervisor, the successful candidate will be responsible for conducting and documenting quality inspections and testing procedures across incoming materials, manufacturing processes and finished products.
n
This is a hands‑on role suited to someone with strong analytical skills, a methodical approach to work and the ability to identify and resolve quality issues in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
WORKING HOURS & PAY RATES n
n
- n
Day Shift: Monday to Friday, 9:54 AM - 6:00 PM | $33-$34 per hour
n
- n
Afternoon Shift: Monday to Friday, 2:54 PM - 11:00 PM | $38-$39 per hour
n
n
The position is currently scheduled to work the day shift. However, flexibility is required, as the roster may change to the afternoon shift depending on operational requirements.
n
Candidates must be comfortable working either shift when required.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES n
n
- n
Conduct incoming goods inspections and testing of raw materials.
n
- n
Perform first‑off sampling inspections for moulding and assembly operations.
n
- n
Carry out in‑process inspections, including random process audits and production line checks.
n
- n
Complete final assembly testing to ensure products meet quality standards.
n
- n
Conduct warehouse inspections and inspect and process returned goods.
n
- n
Perform outgoing quality inspections, including lot acceptance sampling, to verify product functionality and packaging configuration before dispatch.
n
- n
Record and maintain accurate testing results, reports and quality documentation.
n
- n
Monitor and maintain the calibration and condition of gauges, instruments, jigs and fixtures.
n
- n
Ensure testing equipment is maintained in good working order.
n
- n
Follow established quality assurance procedures and ensure daily testing targets are achieved.
n
- n
Work independently, take ownership of responsibilities and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
n
- n
Liaise with manufacturing team leaders and operators to address quality concerns and improve product standards.
n
- n
Work collaboratively with inventory, purchasing and planning personnel to support day‑to‑day operational requirements.
n
- n
Maintain an organised and efficient workspace, minimising unnecessary space wastage.
n
ABOUT YOU n
To be successful in this role, you will ideally possess:
n
n
- n
Previous experience in quality assurance, quality control or a manufacturing environment.
n
- n
The ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
n
- n
Experience using precision measuring instruments, including verniers and micrometers.
n
- n
Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to inspection and testing.
n
- n
Good English literacy and numeracy skills.
n
- n
Competent computer skills, particularly Microsoft Excel.
n
- n
Excellent organisational and time‑management abilities.
n
- n
Knowledge of manufacturing products and processes, or the ability to learn quickly.
n
- n
Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
n
- n
The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
n
- n
A disciplined and reliable approach to work.
n
- n
The ability to manage competing priorities and perform under pressure.
n
- n
Clear communication skills and the confidence to liaise with various departments.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS nn
