Job Description

We are currently working with a well-established T2 head contractor who are looking to appoint an experienced Safety, Quality and Environmental Supervisor to join their Sydney team.

This is a great opportunity to work on a major projects up to $300m with an experienced team, with robust career development and the opportunity to contribute to a high-profile construction project.

Project sectors: Health, Aged Care, Commercial and Residential

n

As an SQE Supervisor, you will work closely with the project team and subcontractors to drive outstanding Safety, Quality and Environmental outcomes across the project.

n

Reporting to the Project Manager and supported by an experienced State SQE Manager, you will be responsible for:

- Implementing and monitoring the project’s Safety, Quality and Environmental Management System
n
- Identifying, assessing and controlling site-based SQE risks and hazards
n
- Reviewing subcontractor SQE documentation, SWMS and compliance requirements
n
- Conducting site inspections, audits, inductions and safety meetings
n
- Supporting incident investigations, reporting and corrective actions
n




- Driving continuous improvement across safety, quality and environmental outcomes
n
- Working closely with site teams and subcontractors to ensure compliance with project requirements and legislation
n

About You nn
- 5+ years’ experience in WHS within the construction industry or another high-risk industry
n
- Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety or a related qualification at Certificate IV level or above
n
- Strong knowledge of WHS legislation, regulations, standards and construction requirements
n
- Experience working on large-scale construction projects
n
- Solid communication and stakeholder management skills
n
- Proactive approach to safety, quality and environmental managementExperience with safety management and construction software systems
n
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365
