This multi-national group operates facilities throughout Australia, Hong Kong, and mainland China. Pallion designs, manufactures, and distributes precious metal products and related services. Pallion entities offer the following services: Bullion; Refining and Minting; Casting and Jewellery; Fabricated Metals; Findings and Vaulting.

About the role

n

The purpose of the role is to perform a variety of duties within the Refinery and to be trained in the daily operations where required, while ensuring best practice standards in the delivery of the final product.

n

Key responsibilities

n

Complete furnace and melting operations including the processing of gold, silver, platinum and palladium

n

Melt and sample internal and customer jobs including dip sampling and homogenous melting

n

Complete fine metal barring and granulating work as required

n

Quality inspection of all investment bars completed within the refinery

n

Complete operations of stamping and serializing investment bars

n

Ensure that the bars produced from the polishing process is of the highest quality

n





Assistance with metal and stock transfers between Pallion business sites or as required

n

Control and maintain precious metal bar and granule stock

n

Maintain a high-quality standard to satisfy gold accreditation with LBMA and SGE

n

Ensure all recoveries are retrieved and processed in a timely manner

n

Good oral and written communication skills

n

Ability to work under pressure in peak periods

n

Accuracy and attention to detail

n

Proactive, punctual and reliable

n

Comfortable working with chemicals

n

Successful candidates are required to undergo a police check
