Consultant / Specialist Obstetrician & Gynaecologist | Coastal WA Permanent | Full-time, Part-time or Sessional | Excellent Coastal Lifestyle Remuneration: $365,665 – $465,018 per annum, pro rata

The Opportunity An excellent opportunity is available for experienced Consultant Obstetricians & Gynaecologists to join a well-established public hospital within a major metropolitan health service in Western Australia .

n

The service is seeking to appoint two permanent Consultants, totalling 2.0 FTE , with genuine flexibility around employment arrangements.

n

Full-time, fractional, part-time and sessional options will be considered.

n

About the Role Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality specialist Obstetric and Gynaecological care to a large and growing community.

n

- Providing comprehensive inpatient and outpatient Obstetrics & Gynaecology services
n
- Providing clinical leadership across the service
n
- Promoting patient safety and high standards of clinical care
n
- Contributing to clinical governance and continuous quality improvement
n
- Supervising, educating and supporting doctors in training
n
- Supporting the professional development of other healthcare professionals
n
- Working closely with the Head of Department and fellow Consultants
n
- Contributing to service planning and development
n
- Supporting the achievement of clinical and operational standards
n

About You Applicants will be experienced Obstetricians & Gynaecologists who are committed to delivering safe, high-quality specialist care.

You will hold, or be eligible to obtain:

- Specialist registration with the Medical Board of Australia
n
- FRANZCOG or an equivalent specialist qualification recognised in Australia
n
- Appropriate clinical credentials and scope of practice in Obstetrics & Gynaecology
n
- A commitment to multidisciplinary teamwork and patient-centred care
n
- Strong communication and clinical leadership skills
n
- An interest in education, supervision and service development
n
