The Stair Company is looking for an experienced Office Administrator to join the team and take ownership of the day-to-day administration and coordination of the business. This is a hands-on and varied role where no two days are the same. The right person will be organised, proactive and confident making decisions, solving problems and keeping things moving.
Key responsibilities n
n
- Acting as the first point of contact, answering calls and greeting customers
n
- Setting up customer files, organising site measures and installation dates
n
- Liaising with subcontractors
n
- Managing orders
n
- Managing office emails
n
- Assisting with stock orders
n
- Monitoring and ordering stair and balustrade components
n
- Maintaining job paperwork, SWMS, insurance documentation and builder compliance requirements
n
- Maintaining timber samples and general office supplies
n
- Occasional social media and website updates
n
- Accounts knowledge, assisting with invoicing and BAS
n
- Assisting Estimator with quoting projects (training provided)
n
About you nn
- Has at least 5 years' experience in administration
n
- Is highly organised with solid attention to detail
n
- Can confidently multitask and prioritise tasks
n
- Has strong computer skills using Outlook, Google Calendar and XeroCommunicates clearly and confidently with builders, clients, suppliers and trades
n
- Is reliable, practical and enjoys problem-solving
n
- Works well independently while also being a valued member of a small team
n
- Takes ownership of tasks and follows them through to completion
n
- Is confident using initiative and making decisions when required
n
- And last, but not least, you are the person everybody turns to because you either have the answer or know how to find it.
