Freemasons Victoria is one of Victoria’s oldest and most respected member-based organisations, supporting a vibrant community across the state. We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Accounts Receivable & Finance Support Officer to join our Finance team on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
n
This is a varied, hands-on role that will suit a seasoned finance professional who enjoys taking ownership of Accounts Receivable while also supporting broader finance operations. Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient management of debtor accounts and contributing to ongoing process improvements across the finance function.

About the Role
n
As the Accounts Receivable & Finance Support Officer, your primary focus will be managing the Accounts Receivable function while providing broader finance and administrative support to a small, collaborative and busy Finance team.
n
Working closely with lodges, members and internal stakeholders, you will ensure accounts are managed accurately and professionally while assisting with continuous improvement initiatives, including our TechnologyOne systems review.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
- Raise invoices and manage the debtors ledger, including lodge capitation and membership accounts
n
- Follow up overdue accounts and resolve queries directly with lodges and members
n
- Process and allocate receipts accurately
n
- Prepare aged debtor reports and provide regular progress updates to management
n
- Support Accounts Payable processing as required
n
- Assist with bank reconciliations and month-end activities
n
- Maintain accurate customer and supplier records
n
- Provide general finance and administrative support across the Finance team
n
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives and system enhancements
n
n
About You
n
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
n
n
- Demonstrated experience in Accounts Receivable within a busy finance environment
n
- Strong debt collection and relationship management skills
n
- Excellent verbal communication skills and confidence managing collection conversations professionally
n
- Experience using ERP systems, with TechnologyOne experience highly regarded
n
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
n
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
n
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
n
- A proactive, adaptable and team-oriented approach
n
- Experience within a not-for-profit or membership-based organisation will be highly regarded
n

- Competitive salary of $80,000 – $85,000 plus superannuation

- Full-time 12-month fixed-term contract with the possibility of extension
