Job Description

We are a well-established and highly regarded healthcare provider, known for high-quality, patient-centred care. We're seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Registered or Enrolled Nurse, 2 days per week (Wednesday and Saturday totalling 15.5 hours) who thrives in a fast-paced setting and enjoys being part of a supportive, multidisciplinary team. You'll work closely with, and report to, our Treatment Room Team Leader Nurse, alongside our GPs and allied health professionals, to deliver a wide range of clinical services and help keep our treatment room running smoothly.

Key responsibilities n

n
- Triage patients and support clinical procedures
n
- Perform ECGs, spirometry and cannulation
n
- Provide immunisations and maintain high standards of vaccine management
n
- Maintain infection control protocols and follow healthcare regulations, under the direction of the Treatment Room Team Leader
n
- Educate patients on self-care, disease management and preventive health
n
- Keep clinical documentation accurate and up to date
n
- Take part in audits, training and continuous improvement activities
n

About you nn
- Current AHPRA registration (RN or EN)
n




- Previous general practice or treatment room experience (preferred)
n
- Knowledge of adult and childhood immunisation schedules
n
- Strong communication and organisational skills
n
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and medical software, including Best Practice
n
- A genuine commitment to patient safety and quality care
n
- A professional standard of personal presentation
n
- The ability to work well in a team and independently
n
- Flexibility for weekend shifts
n
- Evidence of required immunisations (Hepatitis B, DTP, and TB screening where required) and a current CPR certificate
n
