Newcastle Anglican are seeking a Senior Care Assistant (Cert IV) or Enrolled Nurse to join their team at Mirrabooka Place - Gloucester NSW. You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team providing excellent care to seniors in our residential aged care homes.

Role & Responsibilities: nn




- Lead and mentor a care team under the supervision of the Registered Nurse/Residential Care Manager
n
- Administer medication under the delegation and supervision of the Registered Nurse
n
- Contribute to the clinical care of consumers including maintenance of clinical records.
n

About you? nn
- Diploma in Nursing (AHPRA) or Certificate IV in Aged Care
n
- Current First Aid Certificate (ongoing requirement) or willing to obtain
n
- An ability to work effectively as an individual and within a team
n
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
n
- Ability to accurately document residents care/progress
n
- Willingness to under pre employment checks which includes functional health assessment + drug & alcohol screening
