An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Legal Counsel/Commercial Lawyer to join the business on an initial 3-month casual assignment, providing practical commercial legal support across the organisation.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE nn
- Review, draft and negotiate commercial contracts and agreements
n
- Identify contractual risks and provide practical commercial advice
n
- Liaise with vendors, suppliers and key stakeholders
n
- Support insurance, claims and other general legal matters as required
n
- Manage agreements through internal review and approval processes
n

SKILLS + EXPERIENCE nn
- Australian legal qualification and admission to practise
n
- Strong commercial contract review, drafting and negotiation experience
n
- In-house or private practice backgrounds considered
n
- Commercial, pragmatic approach with strong stakeholder skills
n
- FMCG, consumer goods or similar experience advantageous but not essential
n
