A leading national Brokerage with an incredibly strong reputation is seeking a Senior Claims Consultant to join their CBD team. This is a fantastic prospect to use your technical ability and client advocacy skills in an organisation with a strong presence and long term career options. As a Senior Claims Consultant, you will handle a mixed portfolio of including complex matters while providing advise and guidance to others as well as working closely with brokers.

Key Responsibilities n

n
- Management of a portfolio of mixed commercial claims, with a focus on property and casualty.
n
- Determine the nature of the loss and coverage provided, then effectively negotiate, and investigate each claim while communicating with all relevant parties.
n
- Point of contact for all complex matters.
n
- Review claims and provide information relating to claim tends to senior leaders.
n
- Provide advise and technical support to the wider claims team when required.
n
- Provide advice on coverage.
n
- Proactively drive claim progress.
n




- Interpret policy wording and review of circumstance to ensure coverage is maximised.
n
- Provide structured claim solutions.
n
- Liaise with clients, external service providers and other insurance organisations.
n

Key Requirements nn
- Experience managing a portfolio of mixed claims from a broker or insurance organisation.
n
- Strong working knowledge of property and casualty claims.
n
- Strong understanding of complex claim matters.
n
- Effective communication, negotiation, dispute resolution and decision-making skills.
n
- Proven ability to build a strong rapport with insurers, brokers, and clients.
n
- Confident in your ability to effectively manage the claims process and all relevant parties.
n
- Experience IDR and AFCA disputes would be advantageous.
n
- Experience identifying and managing potential coverage issues.
n
- Ability to take ownership while working to tight deadlines.
n
- Team focused attitude with the proven ability to guide less experienced claims consultants.
n
