Redpath Partners is partnering with a well-established South Australian civil contractor to recruit a Senior Project Engineer .

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced civil engineer looking to step into a key leadership role, leading project engineers, site engineers and supervisors on complex civil infrastructure projects.

n

Working across local and state government projects, you'll take ownership of project delivery from planning through to completion, combining technical engineering, commercial management, procurement, programming and site leadership.

The Role n

Support the Project Manager in delivering civil infrastructure projects safely, on time and within budget.

n
- n

Lead and mentor Project Engineers, Site Engineers and Supervisors throughout project delivery.

n
- n

Manage project programming, resource planning and construction methodologies.

n
- n

Oversee procurement, subcontractor management and supplier negotiations.

n
- n

Drive commercial outcomes including forecasting, cost control, cash flow, RFIs, variations and EOTs.

- n

Coordinate project quality, safety and environmental compliance.

n
- n





Review engineering designs, technical documentation and construction methodologies.

n
- n

Build strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors and key stakeholders.

n
- n

Support project reporting, commissioning and project handover.

About You nn
- n

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.

n
- n

Proven experience as a Senior Project Engineer delivering civil infrastructure projects.

n
- n

Robust commercial and contractual management experience.

n
- n

Experience managing subcontractors, procurement and project financials.

n
- n

Demonstrated ability to mentor engineers and lead multidisciplinary site teams.

n
- n

Strong understanding of project planning, programming and resource management.

n
- n

Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

n
- n

Proficient in Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office Suite.

n
- n

Experience delivering local government, state government, transport or civil infrastructure projects highly regarded.
