The Opportunity
n We have an exciting prospect for a proactive and detail-oriented Portfolio Manager to join our commercial cleaning division. Key Responsibilities
n As a Portfolio Manager, your role will focus on managing and supporting your team members and portfolio of client sites. Your responsibilities include:
n
Completing regular site-based quality control inspections and audits across your portfolio to ensure high-quality service delivery.
n
Maintaining and managing relationships with clients and on-site contacts.
n
Achieving and exceeding your portfolio performance KPIs.
n
Facilitating ongoing training and toolbox sessions to reinforce safety, compliance, and operational excellence.
n
Ensuring any items requiring rectification are promptly addressed, with full communication and follow-up.
n
Quoting and managing ad-hoc work while ensuring successful delivery of routine and ad-hoc services.
n
Identifying opportunities for value-add services and additional service recharge opportunities.
n
Managing timesheets and ensuring accurate payroll submissions.
n
Conducting regular physical visits to all sites to inspect staff, perform random compliance spot checks, and verify staff are working safely, compliantly, and to quality standards.
n
Responding promptly and following correct procedures for incident reporting, including completing incident reports.
n
Acting as the first point of contact for client queries, additional requests, or requests for rectification.
n
Skills and Expertise
n To succeed in this role, you will need:
n
Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in commercial cleaning industry
n
Proven track record of managing multi-site accounts and portfolios.
n
Strong attention to detail and excellent time management and organisational skills.
n
Highly developed verbal and written communication skills.
n
Ability to manage and lead staff effectively while maintaining strong client relationships.
n
Up-to-date strong understanding of cleaning procedures, WHS, Compliance, and cleaning equipment/machinery.
n
Experience in digital rostering and performance management.
n
Robust problem-solving skills and the ability to train staff when required.
n
Flexibility in start times to achieve optimal results for clients.
n
Intermediate computer and smartphone skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, Digital Rostering Systems).
n
Dependable, highly organised, and self-motivated.
n
Own car and current driver’s licence.
n
