The Opportunity n

This is an opportunity to take ownership of a key transactional finance function within a leading multinational organisation.

n

Reporting to the Group Shared Services Manager, you will lead a team of 7 across rebates and claims. You will oversee supplier contracts and the end-to-end rebate process, while improving the systems, processes and controls that support the function.

n

You will work closely with stakeholders across Finance, Merchandise, Procurement and Supply Chain to resolve issues, improve rebate recovery and provide clear visibility over performance.

n

This role would suit someone who brings a broader accounting perspective to transactional finance leadership and enjoys working through commercial challenges and shaping how a function develops.

The Challenge n

Reporting to the Shared Services Manager, some of your key responsibilities will include:

- Managing the end-to-end supplier rebate process, including accrual setup, tracking, forecasting, reconciliation and collection
n
- Reviewing and maintaining supplier contracts, translating commercial terms into measurable rebate calculations and monitoring compliance
n
- Validating supplier rebate calculations against purchasing data and performance metrics
n
- Identifying missed income and financial leakage while improving rebate recovery across categories and suppliers
n
- Reporting on rebate performance,



variances and financial risk exposure
n
- Partnering with Commercial Finance, Merchandise, Procurement, Supply Chain and suppliers to resolve discrepancies and disputes
n
- Leading the wider team while improving rebate management systems, controls, reporting and automation across the function
n

The Expertise n

To be successful in this role, you will bring the following:

n

n
- Minimum five years’ experience across financial accounting, transactional finance or rebates, with a sound understanding of accounting principles
n
- Experience leading a finance team and working with stakeholders across the business
n
- Strong knowledge of supplier rebates and the ability to interpret commercial agreements
n
- Experience improving systems and processes within a finance function
n
- Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capability
n
- A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting or a related field
n
- CA or CPA qualification would be desirable
n
