The Electrical Manager wanted to build and lead a high-performing residential team in Canberra. Your New Company Hays Trades & Labour is partnering with a well-established and rapidly growing Canberra-based trade services provider. Due to continued expansion, we are seeking an experienced Electrical Manager to establish and lead a residential electrical division. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced electrician looking to transition into a senior leadership role while remaining closely connected to the industry.

Your Current Role As the Electrical Manager, you will be responsible for building and leading a high-performing residential electrical team while overseeing the growth and success of the division.

Your duties will include:

- Building, leading and mentoring electricians and apprentices
n
- Establishing systems and processes for a growing electrical department
n
- Providing technical advice and operational support when required
n
- Reviewing quotes, job reports and completed works
n
- Assisting with scheduling and resource planning
n
- Visiting sites to resolve technical issues and support field staff
n
- Developing team capability and driving performance
n




- Building strong client relationships and ensuring exceptional customer service
n
- Promoting a positive culture focused on safety, quality and professionalism
n

What You'll Need to Succeed nn
- Current unrestricted Electrical Licence
n
- Extensive experience within residential electrical services
n
- Previous leadership, management or business-building experience
n
- Strong ability to mentor and develop tradespeople and apprentices
n
- Excellent client relationship and communication skills
n
- Strong organisational and planning abilities
n
- A proactive and solutions-focused approach
n
- Commitment to delivering quality workmanship and high customer satisfaction
