The successful applicant will provide professional remedial and therapeutic massage treatments to a diverse client base, including clients seeking assistance with musculoskeletal pain, soft-tissue dysfunction, injury recovery, mobility and general physical wellbeing.
Key responsibilities
- Assess clients' presenting concerns and relevant health history
- Provide remedial and therapeutic massage treatments
- Monitor client progress and modify treatments where required
- Provide appropriate advice regarding stretching, movement and self-care
- Maintain accurate clinical notes and client records
- Communicate professionally with clients
- Work collaboratively with other practitioners and clinic staff
About you
- Hold a Diploma of Remedial Massage or equivalent relevant qualification
- Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology and musculoskeletal conditions
- Professional, reliable and client-focused
- Confident working both independently and as part of a team
- Eligibility for qualified association membership and private health fund provider registration highly regarded
- Additional skills in pregnancy massage, lymphatic drainage, cupping, myofascial techniques, sports massage or dry needling viewed favourably
