With the Australian business continuing to grow, they are seeking an experienced Credit / Accounts Receivable professional to join their finance team on a 4-5 month temporary assignment , based in Melbourne's Eastern Suburbs. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong AR experience, a customer-focused approach and a genuine interest in joining a successful, growing business.

The Opportunity
n
n Reporting to the AR Manager, you will be responsible for:
n
n
- Following up slow-paying customers and taking appropriate corrective action.
n
- Processing customer invoices and credit notes.
n
- Matching customer remittances to bank statements and customer accounts.
n
- Performing account reconciliations and resolving discrepancies.
n
- Conducting credit checks and maintaining customer profiles and credit limits within the ERP system.
n
- Managing customer account enquiries, disputes and discrepancies through to resolution.
n
- Liaising closely with Customer Service and Account Managers.
n
- Identifying opportunities to improve accounts receivable processes.
n
- Supporting the wider finance team with additional duties as required.
n
About You n

nIdeally, you will have:n
n
n
- Previous experience in an Accounts Receivable or Credit role.
n
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
n
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
n
- A proactive approach with the ability to meet deadlines.
n
- Solid problem-solving and reconciliation skills.
n
- A collaborative, team-oriented approach.
n
- Good Excel skills and experience working with ERP systems.
n
- A strong sense of integrity, dependability and professionalism.
n
