Job Description
Start your career as part of the People Experience team, with exposure across recruitment, Injury Management & WHS as well as Industrial Relations/Employee Relations & Organisational Development.
n
This role provides administrative and coordination support across key people functions, including employee lifecycle activities, learning and development, workforce administration, compliance, and people initiatives.
n
As the new People Experience Graduate you will be provided the opportunity to gain direct exposure to a broad range of human resource disciplines while contributing to operational and proactive people activities. The role also serves as a back-up to Reception and supports front-of-house administration to ensure a positive experience for employees, clients, visitors, and stakeholders.
n

What You’ll do: n
n
- Provide administrative support across People Experience, Talent Acquisition, Payroll, Learning & Development and WHS functions.
n
- Assist with onboarding, employee documentation and workforce administration.
n
- Support the maintenance of employee records and HR systems.
n
- Assist with preparing reports, correspondence, presentations and HR communications.
n
- Support people programs and initiatives, including employee engagement, recognition and wellbeing activities.
n
- Contribute to continuous improvement projects and people-related initiatives.
n
- Provide back-up support to reception by:
n
- Providing prompt, courteous attention to telephone callers, visitors and clients.
n
- Providing appropriate responses and information to clients, service providers and members of the public as required.
n
- Providing an interface with, and support to consumers, staff and contractors.
n
- Collaborating and cooperating with colleagues to ensure efficient and effective completion of tasks.
n
- Monitor logbook and issue visitor badges.
n
- Assist with and refer enquiries to appropriate personnel as required.
n
- Complete allocated tasks with accuracy, in an efficient, effective, and timely manner.
n
What you Bring: nn
- Experience working in a professional environment is advantageous but not essential Previous systems experience and/or the ability and motivation to learn and adapt to a variety of systems.
n
- Demonstrated interest in Human Resources and people-related practices.
n
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
n
- Personable phone etiquette, with understanding for clients concerns and questions.
n
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access.
n
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with internal and external customers in a positive and co-operative manner.
n
- Ability to organise, multitask, prioritise and work under pressure.
n
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive in dealing with issues that may arise.
n
- Ability to draft simple correspondence of a non-specialist nature.
n
- Ability to handle sensitive information in a confidential manner.
n
