Project: Major Infrastructure Project - Minimum 8 - week project

n

We are currently seeking reliable and hardworking Trades Assistants to join our client’s team on a major infrastructure project in Western Sydney.

n

You will work alongside experienced Mechanical Fitters and the wider project team, assisting with the installation, assembly and commissioning of cargo conveyor systems and associated equipment . You will require both a Construction White card and LF Forklift license for this role.

- Prospect to work on a major airport infrastructure project

- Working hours of 6am to 5pm daily (lots of overtime available!)

- Minimum 8 - week project

About the Role n

Your responsibilities will include:

n

n
- Assisting Mechanical Fitters with conveyor installation and assembly
n
- Supporting the installation of mechanical equipment and components
n
- Using hand and power tools under direction
n
- Moving, positioning and handling materials and equipmentAssisting with conveyor frames, rollers, guards and associated components
n
- General site labouring and housekeeping
n
- Loading and unloading materials
n
- Following drawings, instructions and site procedures
n
- Maintaining a clean and safe work area
n
- Working as part of a team to meet project deadlines
n

About You n

To be successful, you will have:

n

n
- Must have Construction White Card
n
- Must have a valid LF Forklift License
n
- Previous Trades Assistant, construction or industrial experience highly regarded
n
- Experience using basic hand and power tools
n
- Good physical fitness and ability to perform manual work
n
- Strong work ethic and reliable attendance
n
- Ability to follow instructions and work safely
n
- Ability to work effectively alongside qualified tradespeople
n
- Relevant tickets such as EWP or working at heights highly regarded
n
- Mechanical or conveyor experience highly regarded
n
