Mamasan Broadbeach is the award-winning flagship of the Mamasan Restaurant Group, with a sister venue, BabyMama, in Nobby Beach. Mamasan is known for modern Asian dining, precision, pace and high-energy service. We're building our venues around great hospitality, outstanding cuisine and exceptional people.

THE ROLE

n

The wok section is the engine of our kitchen and in high-volume service it sets the pace. We're looking for an experienced wok chef to own this section.

n

You'll be responsible for:

n

Running the wok section with speed, consistency and control

n

Delivering our dishes to spec, every time, in high-volume service

n

Managing wok prep, mise en place and section organisation

n

Keeping your section clean, secure and compliant

n

Training and supporting other chefs on the wok

n

WHAT YOU BRING

Proven experience as a wok chef in a busy Asian kitchen

n

Strong wok technique and control of heat, timing and seasoning

n

Calm, consistent standards in a heavy service

n

A strong work ethic and a team-first attitude
