Our client is a large, commercially focused organisation based in Canberra.

The finance function plays a central role in supporting decision-making across the business, working closely with both financial and non-financial stakeholders.

The Opportunity n

This is a 12-month contract opportunity for a Senior Financial Analyst.

n

You’ll work across a mix of Financial Planning & Analysis and finance business partnering, giving you exposure to a broad range of stakeholders and financial processes within a large, complex organisation.

n

As an organisation, they are open to process improvement so there will be room to bring your own ideas to existing ways of working.

The Role n

This role blends FP&A; with finance business partnering, working closely with stakeholders across the business.

n

As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will be:

n

n
- Building and managing financial models that support business decision-making
n
- Analysing financial performance and question assumptions to get to the real story behind the numbers
n
- Partnering with financial and non-financial stakeholders across the business, building robust working relationships
n




- Communicating financial insights clearly through both written and verbal reporting
n

The Ideal Person n

You’re naturally curious, comfortable asking the right questions to understand the many layers of the business, and confident building relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

n

You will bring the following skills and experience:

n

- At least 5 years’ commercial management accounting experience
n
- Experience in a finance business partnering or FP&A; within a large complex business in the property, development or construction industry will be highly regarded
n
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain financial information to non-financial stakeholders
n

Salary / Rate nn
- $90/hr – $100/hr + Super
n
- 12-month labour hire contract
n
- Canberra based role
n
