Key responsibilities

- $60,000 per year, which is well above your typical apprentice wage
- Company car and fuel card
- Full-time, paid traineeship: earn while you learn
- Complete your Certificate II in Fire Protection (Inspection and Testing)
- Uniform, PPE and tools supplied
- A clear pathway to Cert III and a fully qualified fire technician role FPAS

What you'll be doing:

- Inspection and repairs of passive fire systems
- Inspection and testing of fire equipment
- Working across a portfolio based mostly around Melbourne Metro, with some regional travel thrown in
- Logging results and defects properly, because doing it right matters

About you

- No experience needed, just the right attitude
- Must be driven, ready to learn a new trade
- Turn up on time, ready to work, every time (non-negotiable)
- Current driver's licence
- Comfortable on ladders and working at heights
- Keen to learn and happy to ask questions
