Job Description
The Company: n
A global infrastructure provider that designs, builds and operates critical communications networks, playing a key role in supporting essential services across Australia. Their infrastructure underpins nationwide connectivity, making reliability and uptime absolutely critical.
The Position: n
As an Electrical Engineer, you’ll support the delivery and upgrade of critical electrical infrastructure across the network. The role covers design, project support, commissioning and technical troubleshooting, with a focus on switchboards, distribution systems, standby power and renewable energy.
Duties include: n
n
- Design and specify electrical infrastructure systems
n
- Support projects from design through to commissioning
n
- Work across switchboards, distribution and standby power systems
n
- Investigate electrical issues and provide technical solutions
n
- Review designs for compliance and suitability
n
- Provide technical support to field and project teams
n
Skills & experience required: nn
- Electrical Engineering degree
n
- Strong knowledge of electrical regulations and AS/NZS 3000
n
- Experience with commercial electrical systems and standby generators, UPS, switchboards and transfer systems
n
- On-site commissioning experience
n
- AutoCAD experience
n
- Renewable energy exposure highly regarded
n
- Australian driver's licence
n
