About The Role n

A well-regarded Brisbane firm is looking for a Valuations Manager to run a broad range of valuation engagements and deliver independent, reliable advice to clients. You will take ownership of projects from analysis through to the final report, form your own view on business and equity value, and act as a trusted adviser to Directors and Partners. The Corporate Finance team also covers M&A; and financial due diligence, so there is scope to broaden your experience over time. This is a Brisbane based role with 2 days working from home, and relocation assistance is available for the right international applicant.

What You Will Be Doing n

Managing valuation engagements including PPAs and intangible asset valuations, convertible notes, employee equity valuations and impairment testing

n

Analysing financial data in detail to make sure every valuation is accurate

n

Leading management interviews and identifying key issues

n

Forming a view on business and equity value for discussion with the Director or Partner

n





Preparing detailed comparable company and transaction analysis

n

Managing the writing of business valuation reports

n

Contributing to business development and identifying new work

n

Mentoring, reviewing and developing junior team members

n

Improving processes and building strong internal and client relationships

What We Are Looking For n

Experience delivering business valuations in a qualified services or advisory environment

n

Strong technical knowledge across PPAs, impairment testing and equity valuations

n

Chartered Accountant, CFA or equivalent qualification (or working towards)

n

Confident report writer who can defend a valuation view with senior stakeholders

n

Proven ability to review work and develop junior staff

n

Australian citizenship or a valid work visa

n
