BJT Legal is a well-established Victorian law firm with a team of 30 dedicated professionals, committed to delivering exceptional client service across a range of practice areas. We are seeking an experienced, compassionate and client-focused lawyer to join our Family Law team.

About the Role n

Working closely with the Director who leads our Family Law practice, you will provide high-quality advice and representation across a broad range of family law matters, including:

- Divorce and separation matters
n
- Parenting and children's matters
n
- Property and financial settlements
n
- Family violence intervention orders
n
- Court proceedings and dispute resolution
n
- Mediation and negotiated settlements
n

n

This role offers the prospect to manage your own files with autonomy while benefiting from the support of an experienced and collaborative team.

About You n

n
- A qualified Australian lawyer with at least 2 years' PQE in Family Law
n
- Compassionate, empathetic and able to build trusted relationships with clients during challenging times
n
- A strong communicator with excellent negotiation and advocacy skills
n
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
n




- Confident managing matters independently while working collaboratively within a team
n
- Looking for a long-term career within a supportive and progressive regional practice
n
- While our preference is for a full-time, experienced Family Lawyer, part-time arrangements may be considered for the right applicant.
