This is an opportunity to really own the People & Culture function within a growing Brisbane business.

We're looking for an experienced, hands‑on People & Culture Manager who can work closely with the leadership team, support managers and employees, and help shape how the people side of the business develops from here.

n

They need someone who can come in, understand the business, work out what's missing and give clear advice on what needs to happen next.

You’ll have genuine ownership across:

- People & Culture and employee experience

- HR advice and support to managers and leadership
n
- ER, performance management, grievances and investigations
n
- HR policies, procedures and employment compliance
n
- Fair Work and Modern Award requirements
n
- WorkCover and return‑to‑work matters when required
n
- Onboarding and the broader employee lifecycle
n
- Manager support and capability
n
- Workplace culture, communication and engagement
n
- Broader office and workplace responsibilities
n

There's plenty of scope to make the function your own,



introduce structure where it's needed and have a genuine influence on the culture and employee experience as the business grows.

n

You’ll have solid experience across People & Culture, HR Management or HR Business Partnering and be equally comfortable with the positive side of P&C; and the harder HR matters when they land.

n

Sound knowledge of - Australian employment legislation, Fair Work and Modern Awards, together with practical experience across ER, performance management, policies, investigations and workplace compliance is also required.

Importantly, this is a broad generalist People & Culture role, not a pathway from recruitment or Talent Acquisition into HR.

n

If your experience has been predominantly recruitment or TA without substantial hands‑on experience across the wider HR function, this won’t be the right fit.

n

Experience working across a mixed workforce including office, retail, warehouse, logistics or other operational teams would be comparable in terms of the setting here.
