Flexible hours | SIL, In-Home & Community Support | Day, Afternoon & Sleepover Shifts

Care Agency Services is looking for reliable and compassionate Disability Support Workers in Hervey Bay to join our growing team and support clients across a range of disability services.

n

This is a excellent opportunity for experienced support workers who are looking for flexible work and the potential for regular hours , with shift availability ranging from occasional shifts through to up to 40 hours per week , depending on client needs and your availability.

ABOUT THE ROLE n

You will provide support to people living with disability across:

n

n
- Supported Independent Living (SIL)
n
- In-home support
n
- Community access and social groups
n

n

Shifts vary depending on client requirements and may include:

n

n
- n

6:00am - 2:00pm

n
- n

7:00am - 12:00pm

n




- n

3:00pm - 8:00pm

n
- n

8:00am - 2:00pm

n
- n

Afternoon/evening shifts

n
- n

Overnight sleepover shifts

n

n

There is a particular need for workers who are comfortable with sleepover shifts , as these opportunities are more frequently available.

n

Weekend availability may also be required from time to time.

Your duties may include: n

n
- n

Providing person-centred disability support

n
- n

Supporting clients with daily living activities

n
- n

Community access and transport

n
- n

Social support and participation in activities and groups

n
- n

Meal preparation

n
- n

Medication assistance where required and appropriately trained

n
- n

Personal care where required

n
- n

Tidying and cleaning related to the client's support

n
- n

Laundry and general household tasks within SIL

n
- n

Supporting clients to maintain their independence and routines

n

n

This is not a full domestic cleaning role . Household tasks are generally completed as part of the client's support, such as tidying after meal preparation or showering, laundry and maintaining shared SIL areas.

Qualifications & Checks n

A Certificate III in Individual Support, Disability or a similar qualification is preferred, but not essential for applicants with relevant disability support experience.

You will also need:

NDIS Worker Screening Check

n
- n

Working with Children Check (Blue Card)

n
- n

Current Police Check

n
- n

Current First Aid & CPR

n
- n

Australian driver's licence

n
- n

Reliable, registered and insured vehicle

n

n

Relevant disability support experience will be highly regarded, particularly experience in SIL, in-home support or community access.
