About the Role n

Mount Pleasant Operation located in the Hunter Valley Region, NSW is looking for an experienced Training Co-ordinator to join the Health, Safety & Training Team

n

As the Training Coordinator reporting to the Health, Safety & Training Manager, you will lead the training team to deliver best practice training and education programs, focused on compliance and safe operational efficiencies to best support our site.

n

Some key responsibilities will include:

n

- Working closely with operational leads to ensure training programs are scheduled, delivered, and align with the needs of the organisation
n
- Ensure implementation of site training programs and systems to maintain compliance with our health and safety management system as well as legislative requirements
n
- Monitor, analyse and report project performance in terms of achieving training deliverables
n
- Coordinate, develop or source training programs to meet specific training needs
n
- Development and review of learning and assessment material
n
- Delivery of in-class learning and assessment
n
- Maintaining the site training needs analysis (TNA) to identify gaps between current skill, competency levels and required skill levels in consultation with key stakeholders
n
- Develop, implement, and maintain site skills matrix and training plans with a focus on proficiency-based training outcomes
n
- Preparation and participation of material for annual audit schedule
n
- Oversee adequate resourcing and development Trainers and Assessors to support mining and maintenance/HRWL
n
- Roster is 5 days on 2 days off with a monthly RDO - permanent fulltime.

About you nn




- TAE40116 - Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
n
- G1, G2, G8 and G9 (formerly S1 S2 S3) Qualification
n
- Proven capability to lead and develop a high performing team
n
- Experience in managing a project-based training needs analysis, skills matrix and training plans
n
- Strong administrative skills and experience in online training systems (high level of computer literacy)
n
- Ability to develop and map training packages to recognised competencies
n

n

Experience with heavy earthmoving equipment and/or a Mining HRW Maintenance background will be an advantage
