We're partnering with a highly respected Melbourne-based professional services organisation seeking an Accountant to join their collaborative finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 3-5 years experience who is looking to broaden their exposure across financial accounting, management reporting, budgeting and forecasting, while building a long-term career within a professional services environment.

The Opportunity n

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you'll play a key role in supporting the organisation's financial operations, reporting and compliance requirements.

n

Responsibilities include:

n

n
- Preparation of monthly management reports and financial analysis
n
- Assisting with budgeting, forecasting and variance reporting
n
- Financial reporting, reconciliations and month-end activities
n
- BAS, FBT and taxation compliance support
n
- Audit preparation and external auditor liaison
n
- Supporting cashflow, debtor and working capital reporting
n




- Working closely with senior stakeholders across the business
n
- Assisting with process improvement and finance projects
n
- Contributing to a collaborative and high-performing finance function
n

About You n

To be successful, you'll ideally bring:

n

n
- CA or CPA qualification (or nearing completion)
n
- 3-5 years' accounting experience
n
- Professional services, business services or financial accounting background
n
- Strong financial reporting and compliance capability
n
- Exposure to budgeting, forecasting or management reporting
n
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
n
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
n
- A genuine desire to learn, develop and grow your career
