Field Technician – Telecommunications Site Surveys (NSW, FIFO/DIDO) n

You’ll work alongside an experienced telecommunications contractor on pre-construction site surveys for broadband infrastructure projects. This is a field-based role, not heavy labour. It suits someone who is observant, reliable and comfortable working outdoors.

Key responsibilities

- Walk project sites and assess underground and telecommunications infrastructure
n
- Record site information, measurements and photos
n
- Help prepare the survey data used to produce construction designs
n

About you

n

n
- White Card (General Construction Induction)
n
- Current driver’s licence
n
- National Police Check, or willingness to obtain one
n
- Comfortable with FIFO/DIDO travel and shared accommodation during the week
n
- Reliable,



punctual and able to follow instructions
n
- Telecommunications, civil or surveying experience is a bonus but not essential
n
- Rates $38–$45 per hour
n
- Food and shared accommodation (Airbnb-style houses) included
n
- Ongoing work, with the chance to join a regular crew for future projects
n
- Uniform and PPE supplied
n
- Weekly timesheets
