Canberra Sand & Gravel operates landscape centres at Hume, Mitchell and Parkwood , as well as a production facility in Fyshwick .

We are seeking a competent and reliable driver to join our successful team.

About the Role n

The position involves driving a rigid truck to deliver our products within the ACT and surrounding region , as well as other duties as required.

n

This role is primarily focused on:

n

n
- Operating our flat top truck to deliver bulka bags of material to building sites
n
- Driving rigid tippers as required
n
- Secure loading, unloading, and delivery of materials
n
- Professional interaction with customers and site personnel
n

About You nn
- Current HR licence (essential) - Truck has a crash box transmission, so need to have no restrictions (Auto/Syncro will need to be upgraded)
n




- High Risk Forklift Licence preferred but not essential
n
- Forklift experience preferred; training can be provided
n
- Willingness to learn and upgrade skills (including Road Ranger gearbox training )
n
- Physically fit, reliable, hardworking, and enthusiastic
n
- Good customer service and communication skills
n

Note: Our vehicles are manual (non-synchro/auto). Training could be provided to the right applicant to upgrade to Road Ranger gearboxes.
