Ard is a plant-based bakery and coffee window in Stanmore. We’re looking for a reliable baker to join our small team, lead early morning baking and support our weekly kitchen preparation.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys baking, works confidently with established recipes and takes pride in consistent, beautifully finished products.

Friday and Saturday: 3:30am–7:30am

n

Tuesday: kitchen prep and production support, with hours to be agreed

n
nPay n
n

$30–$40 per hour depending on experience and employment type, plus superannuation and applicable award penalties. Minimum applicable award rates apply.

Prepare creams, custards, fillings and other bake components

n
n

Assemble and finish products to a consistent standard

n
n

Lead early morning baking and ensure products are ready for service

n
n

Support weekly kitchen prep, ingredient batching and production

n
n

Follow established recipes,



prep sheets and production quantities

n
n

Organise tasks efficiently to meet daily deadlines

n
n

Label, date and store products correctly

n
n

Monitor ingredient levels and communicate shortages

n
n

Maintain kitchen cleanliness and food safety standards

n
n

Complete explicit handovers and help guide junior staff

n
n

Identify and report recipe or process inconsistencies

n

Previous experience in a bakery, pastry or production kitchen

Confident following recipes and managing baking timings

n

Reliable and available for the listed early morning shifts

Strong attention to detail, organisation and cleanliness

Able to work independently and as part of a small team

n
n

Interested in plant-based baking; experience is welcome but not essential
