Nowra Christian School are currently inviting applications from committed Christians of Protestant persuasion who are active in their local church, to join our Secondary team in 2027, as a:

Secondary Languages Teacher – 2027 n

Part time (2-3 days/week) Secondary position teaching a Stage 4 Language (all Languages considered) , commencing Term 1, 2027.

- This part-time position will initially focus on teaching a Stage 4 Language, with the specific language open to negotiation based on the successful applicant’s specialisation and experience.
n This role will be tailored around your area of expertise, so if you have a genuine passion for a particular language and culture, we want to hear from you.

Selection Criteria nn




- A strong Christian faith and an active member of a local Protestant church
n
- An understanding and/or experience of teaching from a Christian worldview
n
- Holds a genuine passion for your chosen language specialisation and enjoys sharing that enthusiasm with students
n
- Is committed to delivering engaging, high-quality language instruction to students, with the ability to teach Stage 6 highly regarded
n
- An ability to provide high quality explicit teaching and learning programs that leverage ICT
n
- An understanding of best-practice approaches in student assessment
n

Mandatory Requirements nn
- Current Protestant church minister’s referee details
n
- Completion of the school’s online application form
n
- Current NSW Working With Children Check approval number
n
- NSW Teacher Accreditation number
