My client is a leading FMCG manufacturer operating a high-volume production environment with a strong focus on quality, efficiency and getting product out the door. With multiple production lines, technical equipment and a large frontline workforce, an exciting opportunity has become available for a Production Manager to drive day-to-day manufacturing performance.

This role is based in Sydney, NSW.

The Role n

n
- Own day-to-day production performance across multiple lines
n
- Lead a large frontline workforce across multiple shifts
n
- Maintain a highly visible presence across the factory floor
n
- Drive yield, giveaway, waste, throughput and packs per minute
n
- Improve changeover performance and line efficiency
n
- Work closely with Engineering and Maintenance on equipment performance
n
- Ensure production plans are delivered safely and efficiently
n
- Identify and resolve production issues in real time
n
- Monitor production KPIs and drive performance improvements
n
- Partner with Quality, Engineering and Planning to deliver production requirements
n
- Build a culture of accountability, performance and continuous improvement
n

Your Background nn
- An experienced Production Manager or senior Production Leader within FMCG
n




- Experienced leading large production teams in a high-volume environment
n
- Ideally from food, beverage, dairy or similar FMCG background
n
- A highly hands‑on and floor-focused leader
n
- Strong technically, with an understanding of automated machinery and line performance
n
- Experienced driving yield, giveaway, waste, throughput and changeover improvements
n
- Comfortable managing large frontline teams across multiple lines and shifts
n
- Performance-focused with a strong track record of implementation
n
- A strong communicator who can work across Engineering, Quality and Planning
n
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, output-focused environment
n
