An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Billings & Collections Officer to join a well-established organisation on a permanent basis.

n

Reporting into an experienced manager, you’ll take ownership of a portfolio of accounts with a strong focus on billings, collections, reconciliations and debtor management .

Key Responsibilities n

n
- Manage a portfolio of outstanding accounts within a large healthcare setting
n
- Follow up overdue invoices and outstanding payments
n
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders regarding account queries
n
- Investigate and resolve billing and payment discrepanciesManage payment arrangements, adjustments and refunds
n
- Complete reconciliations and maintain accurate account records
n
- Identify and escape outstanding or doubtful debts
n

About You nn




- 2+ years previous experience within a healthcare environment is essential
n
- Strong collections and debtor management experience
n
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
n
- Strong Excel skills, including VLOOKUP
n
- Confident investigating and resolving account discrepancies
n
- Excellent communication, negotiation and customer service skills
n
- Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced environment
n
