- Must be able to read and interpret Engineering and Machining Drawings.
- Accuratelyread andwork with both metric and imperial measurements.
- Work consistently to manufacture parts on time and with a high standard of finish and accuracy.
- Check all work at every stage of production to ensure parts are made correctly to QA standards.
- Focus on maintaining and/or improving productivity and efficiency.
- Actively assess quality control procedures with a view to reducing errors and rejected parts.
- Plan jobs so that materials are used efficiently and with minimal waste.
- Keep machines and work areas clean and well maintained.
- Check stock to determine amount available; anticipating needed stock; submitting material requisitions.
- Other responsibilities as required by management.
CNC Router Setter, Operator
- Set & operate CNC router
- Carry out mechanical cutting, bending, gluing, shaping.
Other
- Work diligently with minimum supervision.
- Demonstrate the ability of working with all materials: plastics, stainless steels, mild steels, brass, aluminium etc.
- Be reliable and punctual.
- Quality and productivity focused
- Adhere to health and safety culture with in the business.
- Team player with a can do attitude.
- Conducting all activities in accordance with the Business Management System.
