Are you a Fitter and Turner, Mechanical Assembler or Trades Assistant looking for a cleaner, lighter and less physically demanding role?

NET Automation is an established Australian-owned industrial automation company and the distributor for Camozzi Automation. We are seeking a practical, detail-focused Manufacturing Technician to join our Knoxfield team.

The role n

You will assemble and test pneumatic control boxes and components in a clean, organised workshop workplace.

n

- Assembling systems from technical drawings and procedures
n
- Fitting pneumatic components, tubing and hardware
n
- Testing, troubleshooting and repairing assemblies
n
- Inspecting components and recording test results
n
- Reading drawings and recommending practical improvements
n
- Assisting with light warehouse and stock-handling duties
n
- Maintaining a safe and organised work area
n

n

This is a varied technical role, not heavy fabrication or repetitive production-line work.

About you n

You will ideally have experience as a Fitter and Turner, Trades Assistant, Mechanical Assembler,



Maintenance Fitter or Workshop Technician.

n

You will also have:

n

n
- Good mechanical aptitude and practical problem-solving skills
n
- Experience using hand tools
n
- The ability to read technical drawings and instructions
n
- Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
n
- The ability to work independently and within a small team
n
- Basic computer skills and a willingness to learn
n
- Experience with pneumatics, mechanical assembly, testing, CAD or clean-room work is desirable but not essential. Product training will be provided.
