Job Description n

The Optical Worker – Store person will accurately & efficiently assemble and dispatch all order types, receive and put away inbound stock and any other warehouse duties that are required.

Responsibilities n

n
- Order assembly using Voice Pick or a handheld RF device.
n
- Packing and Scanning orders for dispatch using JDA Pack Stations or Multi Scanner Stations.
n
- Unpack, sort, and put away incoming goods using handheld RF devices and ensure the task is completed accurately and efficiently.
n
- Replenish warehouse locations accurately and efficiently using handheld RF devices.
n
- Accurately cycle count of stock using a handheld RF device.
n
- Operation of materials handling equipment.
n
- Training of new or casual staff in the order assembly process, scanning and RF handheld use.
n
- Work as a team member helping to contribute to the department’s achievement of the KPIs.
n
- Follow work instructions and procedures.
n
- Work safely and adhere to company safety procedures.
n

Qualifications nn

- Experience in a similar warehousing role

- The ability to work unsupervised and highly motivated with a can-do attitude
n
- Available to work overtime when necessary
n
- Attention to detail and accuracy
n




- Good literacy and numeracy skills

- Valuable understanding of WHS requirements
