The Role: n

Join our Data Analytics and Processing team as a Data Analyst on a 12-month fixed-term contract (with potential for extension). Reporting to the Business Analytics Manager , you'll play a key role in supporting our Underwriting and Distribution teams by ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and insightful analysis.

What You'll do: Data Management n

n
- Perform accurate and timely data entry for underwriting, including managing agency businesses (MGA) across Australia and New Zealand.
n
- Maintain and validate underwriting data and distribution partner portfolios (MGAs).
n
- Ensure data integrity across systems and databases.
n

Reporting and Analysis n

n
- Prepare and deliver reports for internal stakeholders and distribution partners.
n
- Provide in-depth analysis and interpretation of data and risk measures.
n

Process Improvement n

n
- Drive technology adoption to streamline processes and reporting.
n
- Identify opportunities for efficiency and accuracy improvements.
n

What We're Looking For n





n
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Statistics, or Mathematics , or related field.
n
- Minimum 2 years' experience in data cleansing, validation and analysis —insurance industry experience strongly preferred.
n
- In-depth working experience in MS Excel, SQL, Power BI , including building dashboards for business stakeholders.
n
- Hands-on experience with data modelling and building data pipelines is highly desirable.
n
- Practical application skills using Copilot to streamline data modelling, improve pipeline reliability, and accelerate insight generation.
n
- Strong attention to detail with accuracy and efficiency.
n
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and time management skills.
n
- Must hold a valid work visa or permanent residency to work in Australia.
