About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for an energetic and capable leader to take ownership of the day-to-day performance of our restaurant.

As Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards across all areas of the business, including guest experience, team culture, operational performance and financial results.

You will:

Hire, train, develop and lead the team to deliver a positive and memorable guest experience

Maintain high standards of food quality, service, cleanliness and restaurant presentation

Build a positive and engaged team culture focused on exceptional guest service and teamwork

Lead by example and create an enjoyable and rewarding place to work

Your Responsibilities

This diverse role includes:

Leading the restaurant team and managing day-to-day operations

Being a role model for the standards and behaviours consistent with Oporto values and culture

Ensuring high-quality food and exceptional customer service are maintained at all times





Responding to customer feedback and continually improving the guest experience

Training, developing and cross-training team members, shift leaders and assistant managers

Managing rostering, shift changes, team meetings and overall staffing requirements

Managing P&L; performance, guest metrics, inventory, labour costs and other key performance indicators

Executing marketing promotions and supporting local community marketing activities

Maintaining high standards of workplace health, food safety and guest safety

Who are we looking for?
