PARKROYAL Monash Melbourne are currentlylooking for a passionate and energetic,Event Operations Supervisor to join ourteam on a permanent full-time basis.
The successful applicant will be responsible for the coordination of event operations and supervising associates on shift. You will be driven and are passionate about providing service excellence across our Event spaces, Restaurant and Bar
The Role:
Be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our banquets and events spaces as well as support for restaurant, bar and in room dining outlets.
Ensure our guests and event goers receive friendly, efficient service while having excellent event and dining experience.
Ensuring a positive, team orientated approach to leading
Assist with rostering, team development and overall coordination & training of the department.
Ideally you will have:
A passion for the hospitality industry
Previous experience as a Food & Beverage Team Leader or Supervisor within a Hotel restaurant workplace
Experience in event set-up/pack-down, banquet operations and supervising different measures of service
Demonstrated Service Recovery skills
A Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate is essential for this role.
Demonstrated ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
This role and will include weekends and public holidays.
