Our client is a well-established and growing modular building company based in Ipswich, and they are looking for a motivated Sales Construction Consultant to join their experienced team.

This is a newly created role designed to keep up with increasing demand and offers a fantastic opportunity to work directly from a fully operational factory, giving you the unique ability to show customers the building process from start to finish and provide a truly hands‑on sales experience.

The Role

This is not your standard hard-selling sales role. All leads are warm and qualified, allowing you to focus on understanding your customers, building genuine relationships and helping them find the right solution for their housing needs.

You'll be responsible for:





- Managing incoming warm and qualified sales enquiries - no cold calling
- Building solid, genuine relationships with customers
- Guiding customers through the modular building journey, from initial enquiry through to purchase
- Preparing proposals to help customers solve their housing needs
- Conducting customer consultations, project reviews and factory tours
- Delivering quotes prepared by experienced estimators
- Following up leads and confidently progressing opportunities through the sales process
- Ensuring each sale is properly documented and scoped before handing the project over to the Project Management team
- Working closely with the wider team to ensure a smooth transition from sales into project delivery
- Providing excellent communication and service throughout the entire customer journey
- Working towards sales KPIs through excellent service, strong follow-up and genuine customer relationships

About You

- Previous sales experience within modular buildings, transportable homes, residential construction or a related industry is highly desirable
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Confident guiding customers through a considered, high-value purchase
- Excellent follow-up and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a wider team
- Professional presentation and a genuinely customer-focused approach
- Driven, motivated and comfortable working towards KPIs
- Passionate about achieving sales results through excellent service rather than high-pressure sales tactics
