We are seeking a friendly and professional Medical Receptionist to join our team at our Port Macquarie - Lord Street clinic on a casual basis.

n

This is a casual position with the potential to lead to a permanent part time opportunity for the right candidate. Please note that a permanent part-time position is not guaranteed and will be subject to business needs and performance.

n

The successful candidate will need to be available to work Monday to Friday, across shifts between 6:00am and 6:00pm .

n

As a Medical Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our patients.

Your responsibilities will include: n

- Greeting patients warmly and assisting with check-in procedures.
n
- Answering emails and phone calls promptly and handling enquiries professionally.
n
- Advising patients of preparation requirements prior to relevant scans.
n
- Processing billing procedures, including private, Medicare, Workers Compensation and DVA.
n
- Collaborating with clerical and technical staff, radiologists and referrers.
n

- Clear verbal and written communication skills.
n
- Strong organisational abilities to manage appointments and patient flow.
n




- Confidence working across multiple screens and systems.
n
- Previous experience in medical reception.
n
- Availability to work Monday to Friday, with shifts scheduled between 6:00am and 6:00pm.
