About the opportunity? n
Y Victoria is currently seeking a permanent Coordinator for our Before and After School Care service at Torquay Coast Primary . This is a permanent full time position (38 hours per week) with working hours from Monday to Friday 6:30am-10am, 2:30pm-6:30pm , with ample administration time during the day.
n
We are open to considering part-time applicants who can work a minimum of 30 hours per week.
n
The hourly rate for the position is $40 (ACECQA approved Diploma or equivalent) and $46 p/hour (ACECQA Approved Degree or equivalent) + ECEC retention payment + 12% super.
n
OSHC Coordinators are responsible for:
n
n
- Overseeing the daily operations and strategic development and growth of the program;
n
- Working with the Regional OSHC Coordinator to identify and respond to service improvement opportunities;
n
- Creating a positive relationship with the school, families, local community groups and contract partners;
n
- Managing a team of educators who support you in operating a high quality and fun Outside of School Hours Care program

What do you need? nn
- You’ll need to have either completed or be working towards a Diploma or tertiary-level qualification as determined by ACECQA (see the link below)
n
- Have (or be willing to obtain) HLTAID012 First Aid Qualifications (including valid CPR)and Anaphylaxis and Asthma Qualifications
n
- Protecting Children - Mandatory Reporting & Other Obligations Early Childhood
n
- National child safety training - Foundation training
n
- You’ll need to have, or be willing to obtain a valid Victorian Working with Children’s Check – employee check
n
- You’ll need to have, or be willing to obtain a Food Safety Supervisor certificate within the first month of your employment
n
