Electrician – Government & Power Infrastructure
n $45–$51 per hour + Energy Queensland Uplift + Super + Vehicle + Overtime
n Full-Time Permanent | Service & Field-Based Role | North Brisbane to Gold Coast

Are you an experienced Electrician looking for a long-term opportunity working on major electrical infrastructure projects?
n We are currently seeking a qualified Electrician to join a growing team delivering electrical infrastructure works for government bodies and power authorities across South East Queensland.

n

This is a service-based role covering North Brisbane through to the Gold Coast, providing variety across different client and project sites. Working as part of a skilled service and field team, you will be responsible for the installation, servicing, testing and maintenance of electrical infrastructure across a range of projects.

Your responsibilities will include:

- As an Electrician you will be responsible for installation and servicing of electrical infrastructure
n
- The Electrician will be carrying out electrical testing, fault finding and troubleshooting
n
- The Electrician will be reading and interpreting electrical drawings, project specifications and documentation
n




- As the Electrician you'll be working to project specifications, safety requirements and relevant standards
n
- This Electrician will be carrying out inspections, testing and commissioning
n
- The Electrician will be required to attend client and project sites from North Brisbane through to the Gold Coast
n
- Diagnosing and resolving electrical faults
n
- Working closely with project managers, engineers and other trades
n
- Completing service reports and project documentation
n
- Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard
n

About You nn
- Current Queensland Electrical Licence – Essential
n
- Previous experience as a qualified Electrician
n
- Robust electrical fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
n
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and project specifications
n
- Experience with installation, testing and commissioning
n
- Strong understanding of electrical safety and compliance
n
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
- Full Australian working rights
n
- Current driver's licence
n

Experience working on government, utilities, power, infrastructure or large-scale electrical projects will be highly regarded
