Job Description
The Role
n As a Tradesperson, you will play a key role in the assembly and fit-out of specialised emergency service vehicles. Working as part of a skilled production team, you will contribute to the build process from start to finish, delivering quality work with a strong attention to detail.
Key responsibilities n
n
- Mechanical assembly and fit-out of vehicle components
n
- Installation of mechanical and electrical equipment
n
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
n
- Using hand and power tools safely and effectively
n
- Conducting quality checks throughout the build process
n
- Working collaboratively with production and engineering teams
n
- Maintaining a safe and organised work environment
n
About You n
To be successful in this role, you will have:
n
n
- A trade qualification (Automotive, Mechanical, Electrical, Fabrication or similar)
n
- Robust mechanical aptitude and hands-on skills
n
- Experience using hand and power tools
n
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
n
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in your workmanship
n
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude
n
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
n

Additional Information n

- 4-day work week | Monday to Thursday, 6:30am - 4:30pm
n
- Work on specialised emergency service vehicles in a modern manufacturing environ
n
- Trade qualified rate - $47.46 per hour
