Infrastructure Manager of IT Network & Security
We are seeking a hands-on Infrastructure Manager to lead the delivery, security and continuous improvement of our technology environment. Reporting to the General Manager – ICT, you will be accountable for reliable day-to-day IT operations across multiple locations and will work closely with our external managed service provider (MSP), technology vendors and internal stakeholders.
This role combines practical technical leadership with explicit operational accountability. You will lead a three-person support team; oversee infrastructure, Microsoft 365, endpoints, networks and IT assets; manage service providers; and establish disciplined processes for incidents, changes, documentation, compliance and performance reporting.
The successful candidate will balance hands‑on delivery with forward planning, translating business needs into practical priorities and recommendations. A strong focus on cyber security, vulnerability remediation and service resilience is essential.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach and prioritise the work of a three-person support team,
setting clear service expectations and ensuring timely resolution of issues.
- Own day-to-day IT operations across multiple locations, including infrastructure, connectivity, Microsoft 365, endpoints and core business technology services.
- Manage the external MSP and key vendors against agreed scope, service levels, cost, risk and performance; elevate and resolve service gaps.
- Implement and maintain HQ policies, standards and technology guidelines.
- Establish effective incident, problem, change, patch, access and configuration‑management practices, supported by accurate documentation.
- Contribute to infrastructure roadmaps, forecasts and budget planning.
- Oversee the ICT assets, software-licence and lifecycle records, and
- Coordinate cyber security, technology‑risk and vulnerability‑remediation activities, including prioritisation, tracking, evidence and escalation.
- Support technology projects and business initiatives by defining requirements, assessing impacts, coordinating delivery and managing stakeholder expectations.
- Identify service and control gaps, lead practical improvements, and promote secure and effective use of AI and emerging technologies.
- Provide senior leadership with concise updates on service performance, major incidents, risks, remediation progress, priorities and decisions required.
Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Network Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Relevant industry certifications are highly regarded, such as CCNA, CCNP, Fortinet NSE, Palo Alto, Microsoft security certifications, CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CISM, GIAC or equivalent.

You are a practical,
solutions-focused technology manager who can move confidently between technical detail and business priorities. You take ownership, communicate clearly and make sound decisions under pressure. You can organise a team, hold partners accountable, manage competing priorities and build trusted relationships while progressing longer-term improvements.
- At least five years’ experience in a Managerial role.
- Strong hands‑on capability in Microsoft 365, Active Directory and/or Microsoft Entra ID.
- Experience administering Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Defender and endpoint‑management platforms.
- Practical knowledge of the vulnerability remediation, patching, identity and access controls, backup and recovery, and operational resilience.
- Sound networking knowledge, including DNS, DHCP, VPN, Wi‑Fi, switching and firewall troubleshooting.
- Exposure to information‑security, risk or compliance frameworks and the ability to maintain explicit evidence, registers and remediation plans.
- Experience managing MSPs or technology vendors, including service reviews, escalation and performance follow‑up.
- Experience managing IT assets, software licensing, lifecycle planning and technology environments.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem‑solving, communication, stakeholder‑management and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritise effectively, delegate appropriately and follow issues through to resolution.
