The RoleAn opportunity has become available for a Software Engineering Manager to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 14 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.You willLead and manage development teams across multiple streams including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, professional development and day-to-day operationsSet and maintain engineering standards, code quality frameworks and technical governance across the development portfolioOversee agile delivery practices across development teams, including scoping, technical direction, engineering-driven work items and supporting on complex decisionsPartner with product management to shape product-engineering decisions, informing technical feasibility and influencing roadmap prioritiesAbout youTo be successful in this position you will require:Tertiary degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.Proven experience leading and managing software development teams across multiple technical disciplinesStrong understanding of modern software development lifecycle practices, agile methodologies and engineering management principlesDeclaration of serious discipline history must be disclosedCriminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)BenefitsFlexible work optionsCareer DevelopmentSalary PackagingModern FacilitiesDiverse Work CultureResearch Opportunities12.75% super17.5% leave loadingSalaryPermanent full timeBase salary ranging from $160,092 - $169,398 per annumAbout UsThe Digital Health and Innovation (DHI)
