We're looking for an experienced Infrastructure & Security Administrator to manage and enhance our IT infrastructure, network environment, and cybersecurity operations while ensuring the highest levels of performance, reliability, and security.
About the Role n
n
You will be responsible for the administration, maintenance, monitoring, and support of Kia Australia's infrastructure and security platforms. This is a hands-on role that combines infrastructure operations, network administration, cybersecurity, and end-user support, while contributing to ongoing technology improvement initiatives.
n
You'll work closely with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and global IT teams to ensure business continuity and compliance with Kia's technology and security standards.
Key Responsibilities n
n
n
- n
Administer and support enterprise infrastructure including servers, storage, cloud services, endpoint devices, and telecommunications systems.
n
- n
Monitor network and infrastructure performance to ensure system availability, reliability, and security.
n
- n
Manage wired and wireless networks, VPNs, firewalls, and network security solutions.
n
- n
Perform system upgrades, patch management, software deployments, and ongoing infrastructure maintenance.
n
- n
Support cybersecurity operations including security monitoring, vulnerability management, endpoint protection, identity and access management, and incident response.
n
- n
Investigate and resolve infrastructure, network, and security-related incidents and service requests.
n
- n
Assist with security audits, compliance reviews, risk assessments, and remediation activities.
n
- n
Maintain user accounts, permissions, and identity management processes.
n
- n
Support backup management, disaster recovery planning, business continuity initiatives, and recovery testing.
n
- n
Work with external vendors and service providers to deliver support and technology projects.
n
- n
Create and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and knowledge base articles.
n
- n
Participate in infrastructure and security improvement projects and technology implementations.
n
- n
Provide high-quality technical support and guidance to end users.
n
About You n
n
You are a proactive and technically capable IT professional with experience across infrastructure, networking, and cybersecurity. You enjoy troubleshooting complex issues, continuously improving systems, and working in a collaborative environment.
Skills & Experience n
n
n
- n
Minimum 3 years' experience in IT infrastructure, network administration, or cybersecurity support.
n
- n
Experience with Microsoft server environments, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and enterprise infrastructure platforms.
n
- n
Exposure to cybersecurity technologies such as SIEM, EDR, vulnerability management, network access control, and mobile device management solutions.
n
- n
Strong networking experience including switches, routers, firewalls, wireless networks, and VPN technologies.
n
- n
Experience supporting cloud environments including Microsoft Azure, AWS, or private cloud platforms.
n
- n
Knowledge of backup, disaster recovery,
and business continuity processes.
n
- n
Experience supporting security audits, compliance reviews, and remediation activities.
n
- n
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across infrastructure and security environments.
n
- n
Experience working with external vendors and managed service providers.
n
- n
Relevant Microsoft, Cisco, CompTIA Security+, Azure, or similar certifications will be highly regarded.
n
- n
Exposure to SAP, Salesforce, or other enterprise business applications will be advantageous.
n

Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices, identity and access management, vulnerability management, endpoint security, and incident response.

Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
