You will also work closely with our remote service desk to progress logged issues and support timely resolution. This is a varied role that offers exposure to device management, software administration, vulnerability management, and security monitoring in a supportive professional environment.
What you will do

- Prepare and deploy laptops, including building the standard operating environment through Microsoft Intune.
- Undertake device audits and reconciliations using Microsoft Intune.
- Provide administration support across a range of software-as-a-service applications.
- Support oversight of endpoint vulnerability management activities delivered by our managed service provider.
- Monitor threat detection alerts in the security information and event management system and ensure flagged incidents are followed up promptly.
- Build strong working relationships with employees, service desk colleagues, vendors, and other technology partners.
- Work in accordance with IFS technology security, governance, and workplace policies.
About you
You are approachable, organised, and motivated by helping people. You can communicate technical information clearly, follow established processes, manage competing priorities, and remain calm when resolving issues under time pressure. You will also bring:
- Experience supporting Windows 11 in a professional environment.
- A sound understanding of corporate network configuration and cyber security principles.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to build rapport with end users.
- Good organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Word,
Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- A Bachelor of Computer Science or a similar qualification, current study towards a relevant qualification, or other relevant technical education.
Experience with Microsoft Intune and Active Directory will be highly regarded. Exposure to the Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 administration portals will also be an advantage.
The Perks of Working Here
